On Nov 13th-14th, 2017 (2nd) International Lithium, Graphite & Cobalt Resource Summit was held in Shangri-la kerry hotel, Hong Kong. 15 industry experts from various countries were invited to give academic speeches, discussing the future of international lithium, graphite and cobalt industry.

Gu Yan, chairman of Matrass C-Graphene Group, was invited as keynote speaker, analyzing global graphite resources and predicting the development trend of graphite industry. In his speech, the classification, application, distribution, industry status and the future of graphite resources were elaborated.

According to the 13th Five-Year Industrial Development Plan, it’s required to improve application of new energy and NEV. It’s estimated that by 2030, the global demand for graphite will be over 3 million tons, 40-50% of which will be used in new energy sector – the No.1 consumption field of graphite.
